SCREAMING HAPPY NEW YEAR BABES + clinking my glass and softly saying, “Cheers to 2019.”
You guuuuuys. It’s officially the new year! Can y’all believe it? Honestly I can’t. It usually takes me a little bit to come to terms with the fact that it’s officially a new year. However, I’m excited as ever to get a fresh start. There is something so beautiful about the new year. Mainly because it spans farther than it just being a new month. Baby it’s a new freaking YEAR. We all get a chance to do things differently and make necessary changes that could affect our lives in the greatest of ways.
I would even go as far to say the slate is wiped clean. Whatever mistakes you made, faults against others, setbacks you may have experienced — it’s time to do better y’all. No excuses.
With that being said, my slate is wiped clean y’all. SO I’m sharing my overall goal for the new year.
GROWTH.
It encompasses so much, making it my overall goal for this new year.
I guess I just want to take the experiences of last year and use them as a vital stepping stone towards growth. After all, to grow is to progress. It is my hope that I am put in positions that will only allow growth to occur. Whether that’s in business, relationships, friendships, and career — I want nothing more than to progress.
I have left all the bullshit in 2018 and am making new commitments to myself to get me that much closer to my goals.
& can I just say I’m super excited for this year to get underway because I have SO MUCH to look forward to. For starters,
- I graduate from nursing school in May (you guys have no idea how pumped I am to progress in this particular aspect of my life wtf).
- I’m traveling in March and plan on doing so throughout the year
- My godson’s turning 1 in June (how time flies so fast I’ll never know)
- I’m working on a few projects that should be out at the end of the year
& so much more.
As you can imagine through it all, I pray for growth, guidance, and God’s continued grace over my life and the lives of those I love & cherish.
Now that I’ve shared my general goal for the new year, I’m turning the table on you babes.
