KKW FRAGRANCE REVIEW + OUTFIT DETAILS

Ever since doing a live unveiling of the KKW fragrance on my instagram, you guys have been blowing my DMs up.

Don’t get me wrong, I love when you babes reach out to me and ask questions! It makes me feel so good to know that whatever I was chatting about is not only relevant to y’all, but interesting. However, answering the same questions over and over again has gotten a bit overwhelming and slightly tiresome.

With that being said, I figured writing an entire post dedicated to my thoughts on the KKW fragrance would appease all you babes and give my hands a bit of a rest LOL.

I also thought I’d share outfit details on one of my fave wrap dresses from Boohoo.

SO, keep reading for my KKW fragrance review + outfit details.

So this KKW fragrance.

Call me crazy, but I yes I purchased perfume online that I hadn’t ever gotten a chance to smell. I even went as wild as purchasing not one, but TWO.

I said you could call me crazy.

The funny thing is when Kim came out with her beauty line earlier this year, my best friend and I were so disappointed because we just figured she’d be the type to come out with a fragrance or essential oils of some sort. I mean everyone in the Kardashian family has their thing, their niche.

I’m just glad that Kim’s latest niche is fragrance.

Anyway.

Shaped like a quartz crystal, all three of the signature KKW fragrance perfumes carry the distinct gardenia flower scent. I took a chance and purchased the two scents available in the smaller sizes (35mL) : Crystal Gardenia and Crystal Gardenia Citrus.

Upon reading the description of both fragrances, I believed they resonated with me the most and I knew I had to snag them.

The Crystal Gardenia was described as being: a voluptuous, lush and feminine fragrance with top notes of waterlily evoking a lush wet petally effect to the opening. In lamer terms, it has a distinct potent light flowery smell and came in a clear liquid.

The Crystal Gardenia Citrus was described as being: a bright fresh floral bouquet capturing all the stages of a flower. In lamer terms, it has a sweet light floral scent and came in a baby pink liquid.

After receiving them both, I decided to try them out after showering when my natural scent was most pure. I really wanted to see how they worked with my skin and how they’d wear over time.

I sprayed the Crystal Gardenia Citrus on my left wrist and Crystal Gardenia on my right.

Initially, I resonated with the citrus almost immediately. I loved how light and airy it smelled all the while still maintaining it’s sweet floral scent. However, my opinion changed just a few hours later. The citrus became practically non-existent and I felt like I had to sniff my wrist extra hard to keep smelling it. The Crystal Gardenia however, faded into my skin so nicely with the scent remaining very present for hoooooours.

Honest to all that is true, I swear I could still smell its lingering scent on my wrist when I woke up the next morning.

After experimenting with the scents by my lonesome, I decided to test it out a few days later in the presence of others. After all, you know your perfume is poppin’ when you receive compliments on it. I went with the Crystal Gardenia to test out because it was the one I decided I loved the most.

& compliments I did get.

Multiple people either stopped me to tell me I smelled nice or asked what lotion or perfume I was wearing. I knew there and then I might have just hit the jackpot with this KKW fragrance.

I know Kim definitely hit the jackpot! She made 10 million dollars in one day off perfume none of us could even smell. Nevertheless, I am one happy customer so it’s no sweat off my back. Although, I can’t say I’d be willing to take the risk again with another celebrity fragrance that I can’t smell. HA!

Overall, I am pleased with both fragrances. The scents are not too strong and even manageable for you babes with the most sensitive noses. Though the Crystal Gardenia Citrus wasn’t as long lasting as I would have hoped, it will definitely be getting put to good use (maybe my after shower perfume scent).

So this look.

Wrap dresses are everything. I feel like they are making a bit of a resurgence in the fashion world right now with the likes of megababes, Kendall Jenner and Jasmine Sanders rocking them around the world.

Let’s not forget how easy they are to throw on, requiring little to no effort at all. In addition to being super easy to throw on — they are extremely versatile.

Wrap dresses can come in handy when going on a date with your SO (significant other), midday brunch with the girls, and/or a morning breakfast meeting with your boss.

This style of dress always works.

So obvi it was a no brainer that I snagged this particular one from here.

I actually bought the dress on sale, as I do most items from Boohoo.

If you babes haven’t had the chance to shop there, do yourself a favor and check them out. I promise you won’t regret it! They’re almost always having some sort of amazingly discounted sale going on.

So amazingly good, that I’ve had 8 items in my cart (of various pants, skirts, and tops) much to my disbelief, and ended up only spending like $55-$60!

For a babe like me on a nursing school student budget, that is music to my freaking ears.
