What’s on my menu: BREAKFAST?

Let’s talk food shall we! Food is one of my favorite things to talk about. I mean there are so many delicious foods in the world that just the mere mention of some make my mouth water. Right now, that atering sensation seems to take hold when I think I’ve what I’m going to be eating for breakfast. I’ve been kind of obsessing over breakfast foods as of late (the past two years). I used to be someone who did not see the point of breakfast which feels so horrible to admit. I just always felt like I never had time to in the morning, or I was just too lazy to make time for it.

After high school, I couldn’t imagine a day where I didn’t eat breakfast. Never thought I’d see the day. Now don’t get me wrong, I love breakfast foods. I’m a breakfast foodie, but I just never ate at that breakfast time frame. This morning I’m obsessing over eggs, avocado, and wheat bread.

I start by boiling one or two eggs and cutting it up into little squares. Eggs are the perfect addition to any breakfast meal because it has tons of protein within it. That protein keeps you full longer and provides you with more energy through your day, whether long or short.

DownloadsI then peel an avocado and cut it into slices, while toasting two slices of wheat bread. Avocado is a must have for me! This veggie is a great source of healthy fatty acids and Omega 3. Wheat bread is super beneficial as well because your body breaks down the carbs of whole wheat a lot faster than white bread (bad card).

Cayenne pepper is my juj. Remember my roll dawg and good friend, Cayenne? When I say juj, I mean like my thing that I’m obsessed with at the moment. Learn more about my juj here. So, I top my avocado and eggs with my juj and from there it’s happy eating!

I drank orange juice this morning, but usually I pair every meal with water. Don’t forget! Avocado is a great source of Omega 3 fatty acid. Eggs are a great source of protein so it keeps you full longer throughout the day. The cayenne pepper is known to speed up our body’s metabolism. Our body breaks up the carbs in wheat bread much faster than in white bread. There’s a lot of great health benefits in this breakfast meal! Go give it a try and tell me what y’all think!
