Q&A: UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

Happy Thursday babes! Today’s post is all about getting to know me on a more personal level. I asked you all to ask me questions on my instagram that I would be answering in today’s post! So here goes nothing, let’s jump straight into this Q&A that’s up close and personal.

How old are you?

I’m 23 years old! I turn 24 for in November (scorpio babe till I die)

How tall are you?

I’m 5’5, which I believe is average height right? I’ve actually been this height since my sophomore yr in HS. Probably because I absolutely do not drink milk ever.

What is your favorite hobby?

READING. I love to read and it has been the best escape from troubling times since I was a kid. I actually have a distinct memory of my mom taking my siblings and I to the “Red Library” every Saturday and we had to pick out at least three books to checkout. I tell people (including my mom) all the time that she is the sole reason I love to read.

How many dimples do you have?

5! 2 on my right side and three on my left side.

What color are your eyes?

My eyes are brown, but not like a dark brown. Auburn brown maybe? If there’s such a thing LOL.

What are the top three qualities you value in a person?

Hmm. Truthfulness, Being assertive, and Empathic characteristics for suuuuuure.

When was your last relationship?

To be honest, I’ve never been in a traditional “relationship” before. SO, never?

Breakfast, dinner, or lunch?

Breakfast food, all the way. Though I hardly ever eat breakfast, I love its food nonetheless.

Do you have any regrets?

OMG, a ton. There’s many things I would do differently if I could, BUT. It is what is. I experienced those things for a reason and because of that I know I’d never make many of those mistakes again.

Who do you go to for advice and why?

My mom or my forever friend Caresse. They both give me the best unbiased advice always. They shoot it to me straight and aren’t afraid to call me out on my bullshit.

Do you have siblings?

YEP! A younger sister and two brothers, one older and younger than me.

Who’s your ultimate style crush?

Dang. That’s hard. At the moment it’s Kourtney Kardashian. Everything she’s been wearing recently has been killer and giving me fomo if given the opportunity to raid her closet. Ultimate? Too loaded of a question to fit in here. Maybe I’ll do a whole blog post dedicated to my style crushes soon?

Cats or dogs?

Freaking dogs. I despise cats on a level you could never understand. Gives me chills just thinking about the fact that yesterday was demon, I mean cat day. YUCK.

What flavor ice cream would you be?

Cookies & Cream becaaaaause, it’s yummy and I’m yummy and yeah. No further explanation needed lol.

If you could change your name what would you change it to and why?

Scotland. I’ve loved that name for as long as I can remember. I think it’s interesting and a conversation starter for sure AND it’s unexpected which is cool.

What do you think is a character flaw you have?

Impatience. It’s a constant battle to keep that part of myself at bay, not even gonna lie.

Do you want kids?

Yes I do. I feel like I was made to have kids and honestly anyone who knows me would agree 100%. I want three!

What made you start your blog?

I just wanted to express myself. At that time in my life I felt like I wasn’t being heard in the way I wanted to, so I figured starting this platform would give me the voice to share what I so desperately craved to.

Favorite shopping sites?

Pretty Little Thing, Forever 21, ASOS, and a few randoms.

Are you a morning person?

Definitely. I wake up early naturally and always have. It’s kind of forlorn for me to sleep in past 9:00am, unless I worked a graveyard shift the night before.

Favorite type of food?

MEXICAN. You seriously can’t screw that up.Unless you’re a really screwed up individual.

Do like staying in or going out?

I honestly like staying in. I don’t mind going out, but it’s not something I’m dying to do every moment the opportunity presents itself.

What’s your favorite quote?

“Anything worth having is worth fighting for.”

What are the top five things you look for in a guy?

Mmm. Humor, Intelligence, Assertiveness, Faith (belief in God), and humility.

Have you ever been in love before?

Not in the least, hopefully one day though.
