SOFT & DELICATE PASTELS

soft & delicate

Long time, no freaking talk.

Ok. I’ve legit missed you babes! Besides being submerged with school, it’s been really hard to keep up with the blog. Mostly because I just haven’t been super inspired for the past few weeks.

I’ve hated that.

SO naturally, I stayed away. I’ve been getting so sucked in by my day-to-day activities that I haven’t let myself just breeeeeeeathe. As school has started to come to a close, in the past month I haven’t been creatively feeling it.

BUT. No more. In order to be my best self I realized that I have to allow time for me to get and be inspired.

In the spirit of getting inspired, I’ve been using planned me time to go out to cute (Solange-ish) bars, eat really good food because YES (food esp good food gets my creative juices flowin’), browse Tumblr, write, and visit funky cool places.

In doing so, I’ve come back to le’ blog feeling refreshed and oh! Inspired.

SO. Enough about my revival and coming back to self, let’s talk FASHION. I’ve been dyyyyying to get into some fashion talk with you babes, esp about this pastel dream of a look.

Okay so. Who doesn’t love pastel?

You guys know I practically roll over in grass like a happy dog snagging a bone when I’m in anything that exudes femininity. Everything about this look is so soft & delicate.

Everything about this look makes me want to float with the clouds or be one with a field of daisies.

What I love about this look in particular; besides it’s unrelenting feminine vibes, is how everything fits. It’s extremely comfortable while being snug enough to show off my curves. The pleats on the skirt and the off shoulder design of the bodysuit really take this look to another level.

It’s definitely not your average bodysuit and skirt situation.

Believe it or not, way way way in the past when bodysuits first became a thing, I wasn’t a fan. As you might notice, I’m pretty pronounced up top. Because of that. I’m not the girl who likes over exaggerating what’s up there constantly, so naturally I’m not a fan of clothing that does that.

I had a slight change of heart when I discovered this bodysuit and a few others in the later part of last year. They may draw attention to what’s up there, but I believe it’s in the classiest of ways! I love this bodysuit so much that I snagged the same one in black from here.

I snagged the skirt from Marshalls a place I used to love when I was younger, trying to be all flare and fly in middle school. In the past year or so, I’ve been re-familiarizing myself with their store and actually have a few more pieces from them that will be featured on the blog soon.

I wrapped up the look with my fave buckle up Dolce Vita heels.

Do you love or do you loooooove?! I just love a good monochrome pastel look.

I’m really hoping this look gave you run in a field scattered with daisies vibes, like it did for me when I put the look together.

Anyway.

Wishing you guys a really good, happy, fun filled, maybe even dance on a bar or three, lively weekend! I promise I won’t be gone this long from the blog again babes.

Be back in a jiffy,

Thelms xx
