Christmas is right around the corner and I’m so excited! I have two looks I usually go for during the holiday season. I either want to be super comfy or dressy. There is honestly no in between. I love the idea of getting dressy for holiday parties or getting extremely comfy for a cup of coffee with friends.
It’s officially Winter and I’m so excited. This is the time of the year to be super festive and not have to feel bad about it for one second! Moms and girls everywhere (if you dare) get those reindeer ears out and stick them on top of those cars. The most amazing thing about this time of the year is the Christmas music that fills every environment you enter. The holiday cheer and the excitement that I see from kids while I’ve been doing some last-minute shopping at department stores is the cutest thing. However, the most important question is after the chaos of Christmas morning: How can we treat ourselves to something sweet? Oh that’s easy! Two words and lots of yummy goodness to go with it; CHRISTMAS TRUFFLES also known as cake balls.
I love the mornings! I know mornings are the worst for some, but not for me. No matter how late I go to bed I’ll be up the next morning like I’ve had 11 hours of sleep. Due to a lot of different things, I’ve had to be really strict about my skin routine. Being strict about my routine allows me to take my skin’s health a lot more seriously than I did when I was younger. My biggest advice to any young girl would be to TAKE CARE of your skin, no matter how “clear or healthy” you think it is. Preventive action is always the best action, trust me.
Two more days, until it’s officially Winter. Yes, I keep up with all those kinds of season change dates. I’m a bit of a dork like that. What better time than now to start a new style series coined ‘Sweater Weather’ featuring some of my favorite sweaters. Today I’m focusing on a certain Heather Grey thick sweater from Forever 21!
Sunny feel good days are quickly becoming so far and in between. I know, let’s shed a tear really fast. Sigh. I love hanging out with friends when I can, so throwing something this easy on always helps me out the door faster.
