The biggest night in television was last night and boy did some of our favorites kill it on the red carpet. I’m talking best dressed killed it y’all! There were so many looks that picking a top 5 was next to impossible, so I went with my top 12. So keep reading as I breakdown my picks for best dressed at the 2019 Emmys.
MANDY MOORE
This babe stunned in this off shoulder number created and designed by, Brandon Maxwell. The combination of pink with red gave me all the old school glam I could wish for and need. Hats off to you Mandy, hats off to you indeed!
ANGELA BASSETT
Am I the only one still reeling off the fact that THE Ms. Stella Got Her Groove Back has never actually stopped letting us know she’s got all the groove?! Angela stunned in this red jumpsuit by Antonio Grimaldi that gave off so much power and regal excellence. Gone ‘head Stella, gone ‘head.
ROBIN WRIGHT
This babe gave me such purity with the white dress by Saint Laurent she donned with a rustic rope belt tethered towards the end. I love that she kept her makeup simple and her hair out of her face. She made it clear that she was all woman with the slit and cleavage to match, but still kept it refined in a way that only an OG in this industry could.
NICOLE SCHERZINGER
I screamed when I saw this babe on the carpet. Excellence and power is what this look gave me. Absolute excellence. Nicole murdered this look from her makeup, to the jewelry, to the damn dress itself. I’ve always said that Vivienne Westwood knows how to make clothing for us women and honey… I never did lie on that one. I mean look at this babe.
MICHELLE WILLIAMS
Ever since playing Marilyn Monroe in a movie (currently on Netflix), I can’t help but think that this babe is everything she would have been if Monroe had been born in this time period. There is a simplicity to Michelle Williams that I have always appreciated and her look for the 2019 Emmys continues to solidify that. She stunned in this floral number by Louis Vuitton, absolutely stunned.
EMILIA CLARKE
All hail the Queen and Ruler of Dragons. This babe always looks amazing to me and to be quite frank… can do no wrong. She looked timeless and oh so feminine in this beautiful navy number by Valentino.
NAOMI WATTS
The classic award show look with a touch of grunge by Dior worked wonders for this babe. The tulle that the dress seemed to be made out of accentuated how well the belt at her waist snatched that body together because. Beautiful.
SOPHIE TURNER
Mrs. Joe Jonas was another babe who stunned in designs by Louis Vuitton. I loved the pearl pink against her skin and although she looked amazing, I will be honest and say I have one tiny catch 22. I really wish she had styled her hair in low neat ponytail. I’m not sure I’m completely sold on the half up half down look. Nevertheless, she looked amazing and was making it to my best dressed at the Emmy list come hell or high pony LOL.
MAISIE WILLIAMS
Arya, is that you?! So you grown grown now huh? Her look was everything. JW Anderson designs were made for her and to be honest. That is all I’m going to say on the matter.
KRISTIN CAVALLARI
Kristin looked amazing in this canary yellow with a touch of neon number. She’s another babe that can honestly do no wrong to me.
