Every girl should be in love with their foundation literally. No one should settle for bad foundation because that’s like settling for a bad guy, honestly. Your face is what represents you first and foremost to people before they get to know how awesome you truly are. Unfortunately sometimes, people look before they hear and get to know someone. Due to this, I think it’s necessary to find the best foundation that suites you. This is important because your best face will always be on. Four of my all-time favorite foundations are listed. This may change in the next few months with a new add on, so stay tuned.

NARS: This foundation is lightweight (but still full coverage) with a great natural finish. In my experience it lasted for up to 12 hours, but it could be more or less depending on your skin type; the description says it last for 15 hours by the way. The pigment is perfect for buildable coverage and it is great at neutralizing any redness on my face. It evens out my skin tone and offers luminosity.

Kat Von D: This foundation has the best coverage I have ever used in my life. Am I exaggerating? No I am not you guys. I am not. Kat Von D is a bad ass tattooed up babe who would know the very first thing about how to accurately cover up tattoos. Who better to be the face, brand, and creator of her own foundation than Ms. Von D. This is the perfect solution to disguise blemishes, dark spots, and imperfections. Don’t thank me, thank the great Kat Von D.

Bobbi Brown: There are a ton of shades to choose from and I mean A TON. There’s no way you couldn’t find your shade with the lineup that Bobbi Brown has provided. It is medium to full coverage and definitely buildable. The warm tones that this foundation offers no matter the skin color always allows for those using it (including myself) to look sun kissed. Lord knows I hate the ashy look.

Cover Fx: Fell for this product hard over the past few months after being recommended to it by a few people. This foundation full coverage making it my cup of tea. Now I know I’ve just gotten through raving about three other foundations, but like I said earlier I’m a feen for foundation. This foundation is oil free which is necessary for my skin. I love this one because it’s not super matte.  It gives off a dewy appearance when application is complete. I haven’t come across a foundation that could give me achievable full coverage and the appropriate amount of dew.  I have normal to dry skin, so this works great for me! Also, it smells… interesting, but is it weird to say I kind of like it? Cover Fx, job well done because this definitely does that.
