Is it the weekend yet?
I know I told you babes I’d be back on the blog once I come up for air after my Pharm test, but I fibbed. Just a tiny bit because I’m back chatting with you guys, and t-minus this last night before my Pharm test in the morning! By the way, so not stressing over here at all. Sike LOL.
What gets me through the stress of studying before a big test is the excitement I have about what to look forward to after it all. I’m talking things like picking out looks for the weekend, grabbing a drink or three with the girls, jamming out to SZA’s new album (which believe it or not I still haven’t made it all the way through), and sleeping.
Yes I said, sleep. It’s actually what I’m looking forward to the most because your girl has barely been sleeping.
So in honor of my last day of hell (not really, but really), I’m chatting about one of this weekend’s wears. Am I jumping the gun or what?! Maybe a little. I guess I’m just so excited about this look because not only does it signal the official start of MY weekend, but it also allows me the opportunity to rock one of my latest faves from BooHooUSA.
So this look.
This top has been one of the latest and biggest fashion trends to hit this spring/summer since, I don’t remember when. Two of my fave bloggers, Aimee Song of Song of Style and Lillian Babian of Studs and Sapphires have been rocking this style just like many others. So it’s safe to say, these wrap around blouses have literally become ALL the rage. With that being said, I decided to get in on the rage by snagging one for myself.
Let’s just say, it’s one of the best fashion choices I’ve made in the past two weeks! Y’all know how I feel about something that’s comfortable or something that’s super chic and feminine. Now something that is BOTH… welp. That quite literally makes me dance with glee. Fyi, no one was injured during my dance party of one after trying it on. HA!
I paired the top with a simple black skirt. I did that because I didn’t want to take away from the awesomeness that is the top!
With Missguided heels, I finished off the look.
Though I may be jumping the gun a tad bit, I’m so over this week and clearly ready for the weekend. With one outfit down and a few more outfits to choose from — I just know this weekend will be a good one.
To us babes making it through the next 24 hours and some change, and waking up to the weekend.
