Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! For those of you who have dates, you are excited to have a special day dedicated to you and your boo. For those of you who don’t, you’re probably excited to grab drinks with your good girlfriends and cheers the single life. Either way, looking good on this night is very important. However, it is important to keep in mind that there are three different types of women getting dressed for the evening festivities Valentine’s Day has to bring. I want to share with you guys what woman you might be and an outfit option that could work for your night!
THE MODEST WOMAN
The modest woman isn’t someone who wants to be covered up from head to toe on Valentine’s Day. Often times that is the misconception about women who choose to be modest in the way they dress. You can be modest while showing some legs and a bit of arm, without being overtly sexual. That itself defines what the modest woman wants to appear as. You may be the type of woman who doesn’t want to give off too much and that’s okay! I have the look for you. Doing this tan skirt that is fitted, but not too tight paired with this halter top is perfect. Due to the tie at the top of the neckline, you can control how much is seen or not seen.Unnecessary cleavage isn’t projected and the outfit is feminine without being sexual.
THE CASUAL WOMAN
The casual woman believes comfort is the easiest route to happiness. You may be the casual woman who doesn’t believe six-inch heels are necessary to walk into a restaurant and walk out. You know what? That’s okay. Comfort is very important to you if you fall in this category. Wearing something for your night out that is a shift dress or loose enough to not hug the body may be your comfort zone. I won’t lie, a lot of times that comfort is my comfort zone. Putting on this dress and these amazing shoes; that I’m obsessing over at the moment was a no brainer. For all my casual babes going to be out and about on this special night, this one’s for you.
THE SENSUAL WOMAN
The sensual woman is what lives in many of us. Some may be able to keep her dormant and others… well, this is who you may be all the time especially on a special night like Valentine’s Day. If you fall in this category, you believe hugging the body is the only way clothing material should’ve ever been made. You like clothing that’s going to make a statement when you walk in a room without being inappropriate. I have just the dress for y’all my lovelies! I love this dress because it hugs in all the right places and has the perfect hem line. Just enough length on the end for me to wear sky-high shoes and have legs like Naomi Campbell; just for a night.
