Before I start with anything, I want to apologize.
I’ve immersed myself heavily in that ‘no responsibilities life‘ that I’ve been postponing this post for daaaays. I know, I know. Ya girl went and finished summer school and completely lost her shit. Trust me, I know what y’all are thinking. I may or may not agree with that, but the positive… the thing to focus on here is that I’m back. With this new post and a few projects coming soon that you babes are going to loooove, I am back.
In the meantime, let’s jump straight into some fashion talk.
Many of you babes have been hitting me up in DM’s, since posting a teaser of this look (aka my summer uniform of sorts) a few weeks ago on Instagram. Asking questions like,
Where’d you get your pants?
How long ago did you purchase them?
I love that jacket, where’s it from?
Today babes, I am here to answer it all!
So this look.
This look has got to be one of my favorite outfits I’ve put together all summer. In every way it’s so me.
It’s feminine, comfortable, and minimalistic.
The pants, which I snagged from here a few years back are easily my favorite part of this look. If you babes haven’t noticed already, I am a huge fan of stripes. There’s something about stripes that make my fashion insides squeal with glee. Side note: this is quite the opposite from a time in my life where polka dots were all the rage for me. You guys, I ate, slept, dreamed polka dots when I was younger, so you can imagine my younger self is burning with envy at my latest pattern obsession.
Anyway.
Stripe pants are so chic and can be made to look any way you want. They can be dressed down with a t-shirt, or dressed up with a silk or ruffled top. It’s all dependent on how you’re feeling that day!
I tried to locate similar pants that you babes would love (since the ones pictured I purchased forever ago) and linked them at the end of this post!
I donned a black bandeau from Boohoo because this Texas heat is something serious y’all, let me tell you. I can’t even begin to put on a regular top without breaking a damn sweat.
It’s that intense.
To block the rays of the sun, I threw on this baby doll pink biker jacket! Of course for nothing but the sake of fashion because duh. Texas heat and all, remember?

Welp, I’m off to continue living my best ‘no responsibilities life‘ which consists of binge watching The Flash on Netflix. I just started watching it and I am hoooooked. Not proud to admit, but I will — I stayed up till almost 5am watching it.
Oh! Before I forget.
I’m attempting to kinda sorta revive my Youtube channel babes. That starts with filming a makeup tutorial today which I’m really excited about. You guys have asked several times and I’ve been bullshitting doing it for months. Well no more! I’m going to geter‘ done for y’all.
I am not a makeup artist, but a lot of you guys seem to dig my simple makeup for my blog photos. Per request. I thought I’d share how I get ready and a bit of chat time too!
