Hello bbs! One more day till Turkey Day and I’m ooobvi so excited I had to jump straight into that. I mean, who doesn’t love Thanksgiving? All the food and being stuffed till it looks like I’m four or five months pregnant (give or take — weeeeell depending of course on how much cornbread I consume) is always fun. Getting a waft of the pumpkin and apple pie (my mom makes both because she’s a superstar) and wanting to have a slice before you’re supposed to. Well that part, isn’t great because it’s torture. However, it’s torture of the best kind and when it’s finally time to dig into that pie…? I’ll be face first in my plate, trying to remember how to spell torture; let alone recall what it felt like. Ain’t no shame in my game y’all!
I just looooove Turkey Day and the variety of foods that go together to make a meal.
Watching the Macy’s Day Parade in the morning with whoever’s up is like a mini tradition in my family.
It’s also a wonderful time to be reminded, as well as say out loud what you’re thankful for. Tomorrow, I’ll be posting a little somethin’ somethin’ in honor of Thanksgiving, so keep your eyes peeled for that babes! With the addition of Christmas of course, I think Thanksgiving is such a beautiful time in our nation because everyone comes together.
Everything exudes gratitude & tranquil happiness and that’s everything to me. You can’t beat that!
Switching gears completely, I want to get into silky things with this look right huuuur: so chill. so comfy. so fem.
Wearing a basic tee from here, I layered this silk dress on top of the tee from here!
I loved adding this silk dress on top of a plain white tee because I felt like it added femininity back into the look. You guys know how I love all things feminine and cozy. This look is a steal because it’s a 2 in 1!
To give this look slight edge, I added a cross choker from Forever 21 that I love sooo much and finished the look off with some tennies.
So, now that we’ve chatted it up about this silky thing, I want to goback to dreaming about Thanksgiving. It’s tomorrow and my mouth won’t stop watering till I’ve feasted lolz. Catch you babes on the flip!
