FALL BEAUTY ROUTINE

fall beauty routine

Hi babes! Wanted to come on here really quick and chat with you guys about my fall beauty routine. Around this time of the year, my skin tends to get a bit dry and the elasticity is diminished. I’d like to think it has a lot to do with the inconsistencies of the Houston weather. Due to the weather changes, I’m swapping out what worked for me in the summer and switching in what will work best for me now.

Believe it or not, I have a collection of different beauty products for the summer and winter/fall months. These variations are essential for my skin because of how it changes depending on the time of the year.

I start off my fall beauty routine by cleansing my face with iS Clinical Cleansing Complex. I purchased this cleanser because it described itself as being gentle and lightweight, perfect for hypersensitive skin. Keeping in mind that my skin tends to get a bit dry during this time, I figured this would be perfect to clean my skin thoroughly without stripping it of its natural oils. I actually just started using this product a few weeks ago, so I have no obvious yay or nays about it yet. Will keep you babes updated though!

I then moisturize my skin with my Bahi Cosmetics sunflower serum!  This product is great for diminishing dark spots, maintaining skin’s moisture, and limiting and/or preventing breakouts.  I have been using this product since March of this year and absolutely love it. If you babes do plan on purchasing from this company, I think it’s important to let y’all know to keep one thing in mind. Their shipping isn’t that great. It takes a bit of time to get your purchase, and call me bias because I’m an impatient person — BUT I could definitely do without that factor.

I follow the application of the serum with my SPF 30 moisturizing lotion from here! This lotion is the bomb dot com. It doesn’t leave my skin looking pasty white upon application and absorbs itself into my skin so nicely.

Finally, I apply my makeup using the products listed below:

foundation & concealer: @lancomeofficial foundation + @katvondbeauty  Lock-It concealer, @bobbibrown pressed powder in Golden Bronze, @maccosmetics shimmer blush in Sunbasque, and just a side note: during the fall I don’t set my makeup with anything. The rationale behind that, since the weather is pretty much dry and cool, I don’t have to worry about my makeup sliding or moving.

eyes: @ardell lashes in Natural double stacked ( I don’t get my lashes done contrary to popular belief, I wear strips ALL THE TIME) & @maybelline Gel eyeliner (sometimes)

lips: @nyxcosmetics lip liner in Brown + Marc Jacobs lip gloss in Work It@aquaphorus lip moisturizer

hair: @remington straightener

I don’t share a ton of beauty posts on here and I’m really trying to change that for you guys. I get so many questions about what lashes I’m wearing or if I get extensions, eyebrows… you get the picture.

SO, I’m really trying to work on sharing more on this end of the blog.

I am also still working on filming a makeup video for you guys! It’s taken me so long because I want to make sure the quality, content, and visuals are great.

As always, bear with me.

In the meantime, feel free to leave me some comments below if you use any of the products I listed and how you like them. Would love to hear from you babes.

Thelms xx.

I love this! I currently use clip in extensions for my hair and they match my natural texture perfectly!
